The mission of Redland's Women's Ministry is to build a fellowship of Christian women who are devoted to Growing in the love of Christ, Reaching in the name of Christ, Affirming in the body of Christ, Caring in the nature of Christ and Exalting in the Glory of Christ.
Bible studies are offered on Tuesday mornings from 9:45-11:15 with childcare provided and Tuesday evenings at 7:30 during the school year.
We are planning a Women's Fall Retreat in September 2008.
A group of us attend the Women of Faith Conference in DC each summer. From time to time we schedule Women's Night Out events at Sandy Cove Conference Center. We have published a cookbook to benefit a program for children affected by ethnic wars in Africa called Amani Watoto (Children of Peace).
We have recently formed a women's ministry committee to look at opportunities and plan events to better utilize the gifts, talents and resources of the women at Redland Baptist Church. We encourage all women to find their niche of service, bringing their unique gifts and talents to help our church reflect the grace of God to our community and world.
